These men were to be wise men of scripture knowledge:

Matthew Henry was born in 1662 in a Welsh farmhouse close to the border of England and Wales. 1st Corinthians 3:10-15. According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

The Apostle Paul was a wise master-builder; but the grace of God made him such. Spiritual pride is abominable; it is using the greatest favors of God, to feed our own vanity, and make idols of ourselves. But let every man take heed; there may be bad building on a good foundation. Nothing must be laid upon it, but what the foundation will bear, and what is of a piece with it. Let us not dare to join a merely human or a carnal life with a Divine faith, the corruption of sin with the profession of Christianity. Christ is a firm, abiding, and immovable Rock of ages, every way able to bear all the weight that God himself or the sinner can lay upon him; neither is there salvation in any other. Leave out the doctrine of his atonement, and there is no foundation for our hopes. But of those who rest on this foundation, there are two sorts. Some hold nothing but the truth as it is in Jesus, and preach nothing else. Others build on the good foundation what will not abide the test, when the day of trail comes. We may be mistaken in ourselves and others; but there is a day coming that will show our actions in the true light, without covering or disguise. Those who spread true and pure religion in all its branches, and whose work will abide in the great day, shall receive a reward. And how great! How much exceeding their deserts! There are others, whose corrupt opinions and doctrines, or vain inventions and usages in the worship of God, shall be made known, disowned, and rejected, in that day. This is plainly meant of a figurative fire, not of a real one; for what real fire can consume religious rites or doctrines? And it is to try every man's works, those of Paul and Apollo, as well as others. Let us consider the tendency of our undertakings, compare them with God's word, and judge ourselves, that we be not judged of the Lord.

Before I give the interpretation of 1st Corinthians 3:10-15, - of what I truly believe that the HOLY SPIRIT allowed me to understand by giving you some supporting scriptures of GOD word. (His FIRE)

Jeremiah 23:29 – ARE NOT MY WORD AS LIKE FIRE……
1. JEHOVAH GOD words as like FIRE.

John 6:29 - JESUS SAID: “THIS IS THE WORK OF GOD, THAT WE BELIEVE IN HIM WHOM JEHOVAH GOD SENT. (Jesus laid the truth Foundation of the Gospel)

2. OUR BELIEF IN WHO GOD SENT – THE “BELIEF” IS the “WORK” of GOD/ “OUR FAITH”.

THE FOUNDATION of the Gospel is what Jesus laid from the beginning - THE GOSPEL FROM GOD. EVERY WORD HIS FATHER COMMANDED JESUS TO SAY AND SPEAK. (Deuteronomy 18:18) and JESUS VERIFY IT: IN JOHN 12:49 “For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.”

And JEHOVAH GOD SAID, “LISTEN TO HIS SON! AND BELIEVE IN HIM.” Matthew 17:5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

Apostle Paul was chosen to be a minister by the grace of GOD, building from the foundation of the true Gospel that Jesus Christ brought and laid for us, that he gave us). Other preachers will try to build up on Jesus foundation of the gospel, but we must be very careful of what we believe of them and to test every Spirit (1st John 4:1) - Because these antichrists, false preachers may try to build upon Christ foundation as like (LIES) as like STRAWS, HAY or STUBBLE, not like unto PRECIOUS STONES AS LIKE – SILVER, GOLD, DIAMOND (Adding TRUE Foundation) – THE DAY will come and the FIRE (GOD WORD) will TEST every man WORK (Belief) or what sort of the foundation they are believing in.. If they have heard the truth and believe it, they shall REAP a REWARD, but if they have believed in a LIES (as like the foundation of stubble, hay and straw) and still Believe in those LIES after the FIRE has come and REVEALED the LIES , they will SUFFER a LOSS, but anyone could STILL BE SAVE BY START BELIEVING IN THE FIRE (THE TRUE WORD OF GOD)

(This person actually believe that they are building a church with Diamond, Gold, doors -) --Listen closely... and he believe that others are building this church also with Straws, Hayes and Stubble...golden door, silver window seals...Listen how he begin with a comedy jester of a man stranded on a Island not only builded a hut to live in, but also build a church...this lead into thinking that 1st Corinthians 3:10-15 is also referring to Paul is a masterbuiler to build a church out of Precious Stones, doors, window seal,,,,,,listen)

I hope that you could see just how wise men view scriptures, instead of allowing other Holy Spirit supporting scriptures to guide us into the true meaning of GOD words, Jesus once said that He speaks in PARABLES for only a certain few to understand and if other wanted to understand, they must convert their heart.

The Wise who think that they are wise in GOD word, will have less and less knowledge of the truth taken away from them as the FIRE reveal their real knowledge of GOD word, for they think that they are wise to interpret GOD word, with out the teaching from the HOLY SPIRIT.) 1st JOHN 2:27 NO MAN TEACH, only the HOLY SPIRIT.

MATTHEWS 13:15 JESUS SAID:
For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

MARK 4:12 AND READ MATTHEWS 18:3
That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.

ACTS 2:32-35
32. This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. 33. Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear. 34. For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, 35. Until I make thy foes thy footstool.


NOW - ALL READERS: READING IN 1st CORINTHIANS 15:24-28

NOW COME THE END! WHEN JESUS SHALL GIVE UP THE KINGDOM TO GOD, GIVING ALL AUTHORITY AND POWER, JESUS WILL ONLY REIGN UNTIL! UNTIL WHEN? TILL GOD HAS PUT ALL ENEMIES UNDER JESU FEET! THE LAST ENEMIES THAT SATAN WILL TRY TO HOLD ON TO IS DEATH, BUT IT TOO WILL BE DESTROYED!

FOR JEHOVAH GOD HAS PUT ALL THINGS UNDER JESUS FEET, BUT IT IS KNOWN THAT JEHOVAH GOD IS NOT INCLUDED UNDER JESUS FEET FOR GOD IS THE ONE WHO PUT ALL THINGS UNDER JESUS.

AND WHEN ALL THINGS SHALL BE SUBDUED UNTO JESUS, THEN SHALL THE SON ALSO HIMSELF BE SUBJECT UNDER JEHOVAH GOD THAT PUT ALL THESE THINGS UNDER JESUS FEET, THAT JEHOVAH GOD MAY BE ALL IN ALL.

1st CORINTHIANS 15:24-28
24. Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 25. For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. 26. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. 27. For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith, all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. 28. And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
