I FEEL THAT IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO TAKE EVERY OPPORTUNITY TO READ THE WORD OF GOD OR TO SIT IN ON A GOOD BIBLE STUDY AND PARTICIPATE WITH ALL. TO BE THANKFUL FOR WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE COULD DO FOR OTHERS SHARING THE LOVE OF GOD.


DO NOT GET DISTRACTED FROM THE WORD OF GOD, NOW IF ONE IS THERE AND IS GREATER IN KNOWLEDGE OF SCRIPTURES, ALLOW HIM TO BE YOUR SERVANT OF GOD WORD (FOOD).

MATTHEWS 23:11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. (SERVED YOU SCRIPTURES FOR YOU TO TEST EVERY SCRIPTURES.)

LET US READ LUKE 10:38-42 CONCERNING MARY AND MARTHA WHEN JESUS CAME TO THEIR HOUSE, ONE STOP AND LISTENING, THE OTHER CONCERNS WAS TO BUSY THINKING OF HOW TO FEED ALL OF THEM, WHILE JESUS WAS TALKING ABOUT GOD WORD.


MARTHA WORRIED ABOUT FEEDING FOOD TO JESUS AND THE OTHERS.
MARY CHOSE TO SIT BY JESUS AND TO LISTEN TO FOOD THAT JESUS WAS FEEDING HER.

JESUS EXPLAINED THAT MARY CHOSE WISELY TO LISTEN FOR THE VERY MOMENT CONCERNING THE WORD (FOOD) OF GOD.

LET US READ THE STORY:


LUKE 10:
38 Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. 39 And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’[a] feet and heard His word. 40 But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.”
41 And Jesus[b] answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. 42 But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.”

WHAT BIBLE TO STUDY FROM? WHERE DID THE FIRST WRITTEN ENGLISH BIBLE ORIGINATE? WHY IS THIS SO IMPORTANT TO ME?

THERE HAVE BEEN OVER THE YEARS MANY BIBLES PRINTED, MOST BIBLES NOT ALL TRANSLATIONS ARE TRANSLATED FROM OLD KING JAMES BIBLE OF 1611 - MANY BIBLE TRANSLATORS HAVE CONVINCED MANY THAT THE "OLD KING JAMES" ANCIENT ENGLISH WRITTING IS VERY HARD TO UNDERSTAND, AND NEEDED TO BE UPDATED TO MODERN ENGLISH.

AND ONE OF THE MAIN REASON IS THAT MANY ANTICHRISTS HAVE GONE OUT AMONG US CHANGING GOD WORDS, PRINTING THEIR BIBLE VERSION FOR OVER 1000 OF YEARS.

1st John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

LUKE 11:13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the HOLY SPIRIT to them that ASK him?

CAN WE SEE THE PROCESS THAT WE AS HIS CHILDREN OUGHT TO TAKE AND TO KNOW WHO THE TEACHER IS TRULY?

LET US PRAY TO THE FATHER FOR HIM TO ABIDE IN YOU IN JESUS NAME, AND BEGIN TO READ A BIBLE THAT MAY SEEMS HARD TO SOME, BUT UNDERSTANDING WHAT IT COST THIS MAN WILLIAM TYNDALE TO GET THIS ENGLISH BIBLE PRINTED, THE LEARNING OF SEVERAL LANGUAGES, CONVERTING HIS BELIEF AND LASTLY HIS LIFE,

William Tyndale: One of the First English Bible (83% of his research is of the OKJ) Read what Suffering this man endured for the word of GOD.

We all may have many Bibles in our homes: our own Bibles and our children's Bibles, as well as family Bibles used for family devotions. Most of us have the King James Version of the Bible, sometimes called the Authorized Version, prepared under the aegis of James I in 1611. It is a sad fact that our Bibles often lie unused, taken for granted, a somewhat peripheral part of our life. Yet behind our Bibles stands a story of great heroism, towering faith in God, and drops of martyr's blood. The story is that of William Tyndale, father of the English Bible.

Tyndale's Early Life: William Tyndale was a most remarkable scholar and linguist, who EIGHT LANGUAGES included skill in Greek and Hebrew far above the ordinary :


William Tyndale was born sometime in the early 1490s on the Welsh border into the home of a well-to-do farmer. He went to Magdalen Hall, Oxford where he received his M.A. degree in 1515 and was ordained into the Roman Catholic clergy.

In that same year he transferred to Cambridge University probably because he had heard that the Greek New Testament of Erasmus was available there, and he was interested in reading Scripture in its original language.

One must understand the situation in England at this time. Henry VIII, husband of many wives, was on the throne.

Dedicated Roman Catholic, but bitter enemy of the pope's rule in England, Henry persecuted Protestants on the one hand, but separated the church of England from papal control on the other hand.

The church itself was rife with evil, wickedness in high places, and fornication of every sort.

One of the chroniclers of the age characterized the priests as running from the houses of prostitutes to the altar to perform mass; incapable of understanding the Latin in which they mumbled their liturgies; superstitious and worshippers of such relics as a gown of the virgin Mary, a piece of the burning bush of Moses, straw from the manger at Bethlehem, and a complete skeleton of one of the babies murdered by Herod the Great; drunkards and gluttons whose wicked lives were supported by the blood, sweat and tears of the common working folk.


It was in Cambridge that Tyndale was converted from his Romanism to Lutheranism.

And it was in these ancient halls that Tyndale first became acquainted with Scripture in its original HEBREW AND GREEK, and not in the fusty Latin of the Vulgate.

MARY had always rejected and resented the break with Rome that her father had instituted and his subsequent establishment of the Anglican Church that had flowed from her half-brother's protestantism, and now she tried to turn England back to Roman Catholicism. This effort was carried out by force, and hundreds of Protestant leaders were executed. The first was John Rogers (a.k.a. “Thomas Matthews”), the printer of the “Matthews-Tyndale Bible”. His execution was followed by the execution of former Archbishop of Canterbury, Thomas Cranmer, who was primarily responsible for the printing of the “Great Bible”. Hundreds more would follow in Mary’s bloody reign of terror. This earned the queen the title of “Bloody Mary”. Her restoration of Catholicism was remarkable in some ways: Where only one bishop, John Fisher of Rochester, had resisted King Henry VIII’s rejection of Roman catholicism to the point that Henry had him executed; most of Mary's bishops were more loyal and refused to conform to the restored Protestantism under Elizabeth I, and they died under house arrest.
